PRIZE MONEY

Total Prize Money: € 12,500 

Prize money will be paid in PHP. There will be an online form for players to complete before the end of the event for prize money to be paid. 

Trophies and prizes must be collected during the closing ceremony. In case of unjustified absence, the player will lose all rights to the prizes.

OFFICIAL DRAW

The maximum number of pairs that must compose the Main Draw for the tournament to count for the ranking will be 32 pairs. The minimum number of pairs that must compose a Main Draw for the tournament to count for the ranking will be 16 pairs. if there were more registrations than 32. A draw of qualification will be made. 

The main draw will be made up of a maximum of 32 pairs and a minimum of 16 pairs in both men's and women's categories: 

Main Draw 32 pairs 

• 26 best-ranked pairs of the FIP Individual Ranking updated registered at the time of the draw 
• 2 pairs per wild card accepted by the IPF 
• 4 pairs from the Qualification Draw 

Main Draw 24 pairs 

• 21 best-ranked pairs of the FIP Individual Ranking updated registered at the time of the draw 
• 1 pair per wild card accepted by the IPF 
• 2 pairs from the Qualification Draw 

Main Draw 16 pairs 

• 14 best-ranked pairs of the FIP Individual Ranking updated registered at the time of the draw 
• 2 pairs from the Qualification Draw

ENTRY CRITERIA

The prioritisation of players in the draw will be: 

• International Padel Ranking 
• National Padel Ranking 

The rankings used will be those current at the deadline of the tournament registration. In the case a player does not enter with a nominated partner, tournament officials will attempt to pair that player with another of equal standard. Players who enter as pairs may be placed into the draw ahead of players who enter without a partner. 

Eligibility Players must be: 

• To participate in an Official International Tournament, the player must be in possession of a player's license issued by the FIP recognized member National Federation/ Association of his/her home country. 
• At least 15 years of age as at 01/01/2024 
• not currently suspended by The International Padel Federation or any Member Nation, or have any outstanding financial liability or otherwise to any of these organizations, or otherwise be ineligible under any applicable code, rule, regulation, policy or procedure; 
• be in good standing and of good character and not likely embarrass or bring into ridicule or disrepute FIP, Philippine Padel, the applicable tournament and/or the sport of Padel, have complied with all applicable rules, regulations, policies or procedures detailed by FIP and Philippine Padel; and 
• confirm that they are not prohibited or restricted from playing in the tournament as a result of any visa conditions imposed on them by an Immigration Department, or other conditions imposed by the police, any other government authority or court of law. 

FORMAT OF PLAY

FIP RISE: All matches will be played to the best of three (3) sets and with the score method of “Golden Point”. In the case of a tie at six (6) games, a “Tie-Break” or “sudden death” will be played to decide the set. 

Challenge Draw: Best of 2 sets with Golden Point and with deciding set a 10-point tie-break. 

SEEDINGS

The seedings of pairs in the draw will be via: 

• Individual FIP Ranking 
• National Padel Ranking 

The rankings used will be those as at 09/11/24. Any discretionary decisions on seeding will be final and binding on all parties (including all relevant players) and no one will have the right to appeal against or otherwise challenge such decisions. 

BALL TYPE

Official FIP balls will be provided for each Qualifying and Main Draw match. 

Official PPA balls will be provided for the Challenge Draw.

October 26, 2024 for Player Licenses 

November 6, 2024 for the FIP RISE Manila 

Late entries will not be accepted. 

REGISTRATION FEE

PHP 3,000 for Player License from PPA 

PHP 2,500 for Tournament Entry Fee 

Payment can be made via bank transfer or through our credit card payment at the venue.

WITHDRAWAL DEADLINE 

November 6, 2024 

Those who withdraw following this date will not be refunded their entry fee

Participating players will be sent an email each night during the event with updated draws, schedule, important reminders and warm up times / courts. Please ensure updated emails are provided during the registration.

PRACTICE COURTS

Practice Courts will be available from 1 hour before play starts each day. Players will be asked to vacate match courts 10 mins before play commences. There will be 1 court available for practice during the day. 

FOOD AND DRINKS

Manila Padel Cafe will be providing options available on-site at the cost of the player. 

FACILITIES

Player facilities will be available at Manila Padel Club, BGC including toilets, shower and changing rooms, gym, and restaurant.  

PLAYING ATTIRE

The players must be correctly attired, the Chair Umpire or Referee being responsible for this point. The players can use the shoes, clothes, and rackets they wish as long as they respect the rules. 

Players of the same team are recommended, but not obliged, to wear the same colors and refrain from wearing logos from other tournaments or conflicting organizations to the host. 

In the event that both teams on the same match choose to wear the same color, the higher-ranking team will have the preference and the lower ranking team shall change to another color. 

PRE- AND POST- MATCH

Upon arrival for scheduled matches, please ensure you check-in at the tournament desk 15 minutes before your scheduled match time. Once you have completed your match, please return to the tournament desk to report the score, and return the match balls. 

PROMOTIONAL APPEARANCES

The event has the right to approach the players for tournament events / functions, necessary for the promotion of the game, the tour and the event. As such, players must make themselves available for these activities which shall be reasonable in number and shall respect the player’s tournament commitments and responsibilities.
